November 17, 2009The Producer Price Index for Finished Goods advanced 0.3 percent in October, seasonally adjusted. This increase followed a 0.6-percent decline in September and a 1.7-percent rise in August. November 05, 2009Productivity increased 9.5 percent in the nonfarm business sector during the third quarter of 2009 as unit labor costs fell 5.2 percent (seasonally adjusted annual rates). October 15, 2009Real average hourly earnings fell 0.1 percent from August to September 2009. This decline stemmed from the Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers (CPI-W), up by 0.2 percent, outpacing 0.1 percent growth in average hourly earnings.
